|
Goodfellas Quartet sharted when Andrew Tan, guitarist and leader of the group, decided to set up a group to explore jazz music in an unusual string format to revisit timeless classic tunes and arrangements which have long been forgotten. This hugely ignored instrumentation has proven unique in its sound, musical and emotional scope. This first in a series of project, they will be concentrating on the great Benny Goodman Group repertoire. The Goodfellas Quartet comprises of Andrew and Kim Chye on guitars, Shu Mei on violin and Brandon on double bass.
